She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, followed by a Master in Physical Therapy in 2018. She was awarded the Joyce Manton Award, which is presented to a graduating student who has shown the greatest development of clinical skills. Her experiences as a competitive dancer and her own injury and subsequent rehabilitation have provided her with a unique perspective on the physical and mental aspects of injury recovery. She has demonstrated a commitment to professional development by pursuing further education, obtaining her level one orthopedics division, pelvic floor, and dry needing certifications.

Moreover, Chelsey’s emphasis on the importance of communication and individualized care for her clients highlights her understanding of the holistic nature of healthcare. By taking a tailored approach to each patient and focusing on building strong therapist-client relationships, she will provide more effective and personalized care. When not at work; you can find her at Lifecycle, teaching spin, on the golf course, paddleboarding, snowboarding or hanging out with friends and family.

Her active lifestyle indicates her passion for promoting health and wellness, which translates into her practice. Her desire to educate and inspire her clients to make lasting changes in their lives aligns well with her patient-centred approach to care overall. Chelsey is excited to join Lead and their integrated team of therapists.
