Deanna graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2019 with a Masters of Physical Therapy with Great Distinction. She was awarded The N.W. Tymchyshyn Memorial Award, presented to the graduate with the greatest clinical proficiency. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology (minor Kinesiology) with Distinction at the University of Regina, while playing for the Cougars Soccer team and coaching youth soccer.
Deanna has a keen interest in both orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, as well as paediatrics, vestibular rehabilitation and exercise programming. She looks forward to continuing her education in these areas.
Deanna enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and strives to provide the tools that her clients need to achieve their goals. She emphasizes individualized care through client education, movement analysis and exercise rehabilitation. She believes in facilitating her clients rehabilitation process to help them reach their potential and maximize their quality of life.
In her spare time, Deanna enjoys running and staying active. She travels whenever possible and is currently busy at home with a new puppy.
