CoreAlign Pilates

Lead was the first studio in Canada to offer this amazing class which is part mind-body, part cardio, part strength and totally unique. Easy-to-learn exercises on the CoreAlign® emphasize an upright posture and are designed to improve posture, balance and functional movement. Stand taller and move more efficiently. Your core will get stronger (and by core, we don’t just mean your abs, we mean your front, back and sides of your torso). You will get your heart pumping as we work with an interval-like structure to the class. You will be amazed how quickly your body begins to respond to the CoreAlign exercises. The CoreAlign is a great add-on to your current workout schedule or – it can very easily be a workout on its own.

The CoreAlign creates an environment for your body that will work to ‘undo’ patterns and habits (or old injures that have never been totally fixed) that are starting to cause issues in our activities of daily living. It is great for people with knee and hip issues, SI joint issues and for people who want to stand taller to combat today’s ‘tech neck syndrome’.
